Every Essential mattress features 2” of GelFlex Grid and a SoftFlex cover but uses unique foam layers that create variations in firmness, support and pressure relief.  

The PurpleFlex® Mattress features base support foam for all-night support and durability. Its firm feel is often preferred by back and stomach sleepers.  

The Purple Mattress® adds Comfort foam that enhances pressure relief and motion isolation. This creates a medium-firm feel often preferred by back and combination sleepers.  

The PurplePlus® Mattress uses 2x more base support foam for added stability and support, plus Ultra Comfort foam that boosts cradling pressure relief and breathability. Its medium feel is often preferred by combination sleepers.

If your current bed frame is a solid surface base, has slats less than 3.5-inches apart, or is an adjustable base tested to at least 750 lbs. weight capacity, then it is compatible with The Purple Mattress®. Purple mattresses should not be used with a box spring.
